New blog, new post

Okay, so not many of you know that i used to own a blog before this, and really, it's not like i actually spread out the news of existence of my previous. i couldn't care less. =__= it's not like i updated the blog either. i last updated it like... more than a year ago? yup. i'm not much of an updater... but i hope that wouldn't be the case for this new one here.

and before any of you commented me on writing in english instead of malay, well, suck it. i write better in english than i do in malay, and i kind of express better in english though it's most of the time written in a say-formal- writing style. aa... i just hate being typo. i prefer writing correctly and as nerd as that make me sound, i am definitely not a geek. else i would have scored much higher and earn myself the honor of being dean's list. as it turned out, i didn't. get the honor of being one, i mean.

anddd.... as you can see, i pretty much mumble and rant a lot when i'm writing. and i haven't even introduce myself yet or tell any specific details on who i am. so here goes.

i'm a utp student and currently am studying in civil engineering course, in 1st year and 2nd semester. Name? most of you know that already. but those of you who don't, refer to me as Nino.

how'd i get that nickname? well that's a story for another time. too long to be told in this first introductory post. and so i will resume on introducing myself.

i am a japan-loving person though i am most definitely not one in body and blood. oh don't get me wrong, i am a patriot for my country -as patriotic as a university student that loves and adores other countries' culture and entertainment like japan and korea can be- but there's no law against adoring many things from other countries. hell, most of the people that i knew does that, so there's no criticizing  or singling me out alone.

i uh.. love animes and jdramas and jrpg. that's right. i'm sort of what japanese would call "an otaku" -some sort of crazy fan that's obsessed with animes and stuff- with the exception that i am most definitely not crazy and the fact that watching and loving animes are actually pretty usual around guys my age here. let me underline that. GUYS around my age. so yeah, seeing a girl that's interested and love animes are pretty weird to some, but it's not rare. of course, most girls prefer watching jdramas instead -for those of you who don't know what jdrama is, you seriously need to get on with the latest drama trend. it's a short of japanese drama- and kdramas -same thing, only korean- but i love both of them, animes and j/k-dramas alike. they're fun and much more nicer than -cough cough- malay dramas, which i think are most of the time pretty lame. but maybe some of you like malay dramas better. -shrug- well each to their opinions i guess.

and yes, i do play games. jrpg games to be exact -japanese role-playing game- like final fantasy series, suikoden, tales of series, and persona series. contrary to what most people believe, there are tonnes of girls playing games on playstations and computers all over the world. and yes, we do enjoy them and hate to be singled out as weird. hey, there ARE guys who loves to wear women's clothes and play makeup and all, but we all need to respect them regardless of how wrong it was. as i said, each to their opinions. they enjoy it, so just leave the hell of ém alone. games are fun and it's one of good past time aside from reading novels, so yeah i love them. got any problem with that?

i love to read as well, and most of the stuff i read are english, thus my visible interest in english more than in malay. i do however, speak mostly in malay. face it, writing skills and oral skills are two different, separate things. while i can write well in english, i sucks most of the time when speaking in english. i stutter and gagged and say stupid, inappropriate and most definitely wrong word sometimes-thanks goodness it's not ALL the time- so i prefer speaking in malay. yep. woe is me.

i listen to japanese songs most of the time, and i have around 2400 songs in my iTunes all of 'em japanese and some game or anime or drama soundtracks. so yeah i don't usually listen to english songs, but it's not like they're bad or something. they're nice and all, but i just opt for japanese all the time. ^___^ korean songs are quite nice too, but i don't have any of korean songs in my itunes.

i don't have any specific genre of songs that i love, but i prefer them depending on my mood. sometimes i'm up to upbeat and fast songs, sometimes it's just nice to listen to slow and pretty and melodious songs especially when it's raining and it's all dark out. i'm not an emo, but you have to admit it's pretty relaxing and calming when all you're doing is lying on the bed and listen to slow songs while it's raining harmoniously outside. you have got to try that if you haven't already. and switch off the lights while you're at it, it boosts the mood tremendously.

there are plenty more stuff that i can write here in this post about me and my interests, but i think i should stop now. it's pretty lengthy for the first post anyway. i shall continue some other time, and believe me when i say i'll try. to write. and post. soon. =.= see ya.
